Koncept 10 in 1 – Business & Portfolio Theme by ThemeForest

Koncept 10 in 1 – Business & Portfolio Theme by ThemeForest

This is the collection of 10 in 1 Business / Portfolio Theme called "koncept". Well, actually a great concept and unique features provided in this one, which differs it from the normal themes running there at ThemeForest. There are 3 Frontpage Sliders which is in-built with jQuery. Sidebars has been putted in a way to get a more customization highlights, font can be installed manually by downloading cufon fonts (search in Google).

Well, personally I prefer this theme when it comes to getting a professional theme for my business, because I can update the interface of the website whenever I want, but the main drawback is surely it's size and optimization. Since it gets 10 in 1 - it takes much resource of the server and often loads slow.

Go to the demo link to get more information about this theme.

Creating Your First WordPress Website

Creating A Wordpress Website
Firstly, you may think that creating a website is a lengthy process as creating a building... But this is a MAJOR misconception that people have, I am telling you that creating a website is a matter of minutes especially when you have tools like Wordpress, Blogger with such a user-friendly CMS.

Creating a website with Wordpress requires you two things :-

1) A Domain

2) A Hosting

Registering  a Domain -

I guess, we all know about registering a domain, if not I suggest you to check out godaddy . com right now.
Registering a domain is easy as boiling a water (of course, you need materials for it).
A TLD (.com domain) costs you about 8 - 10 bucks yearly. And believe me, it's more than worth it, if you really get serious in this thing.
I hope that you are familiar with registering a domain (let's assume that)

2) Get a Proper Hosting

Next step is a bit tedious and confusing, that is to get a proper hosting. By hosting means a kind of place where the database needed for that particular website is kept. Some famous hosting providers are Godaddy, hostgator (I suggest you to check in Google)

A hosting costs you much less than registering a domain (front price), and is a MUST for building a website, unless you are planning to get a blog from blogger.com.

Believe me, blogger.com is the best idea if you want to really try out making a website, cause it's ALL FREE (except internet expenses :P)
But, if you are planning a more kind of professional website, I suggest you to take a proper domain (TLDs) and a proper hosting, you will understand the essence of it later.

Installation of Wordpress

After you get a proper domain and hosting, next step is to install wordpress, for that I suggest you to check wordpress.org - more than necessary information is given there.
After you install Wordpress, it's the time for getting a proper theme, and well here-is-where "" my website comes into play :D
As I provide a premium theme for free, but notice that it comes with a lot of sidebacks, like incorrect hacking codes and stuffs, which really decreases your PR later on.

Well, that's it, I don't want to go much in detail, yes I have tried the terms to be suitable for noobs-and-geeks.
Hope that you have a nice time building a website with Wordpress.

Cheers
